Facebook Sponsored Messages
Sponsored messages let you send offers, promotions and updates directly to the people your business talks to on Messenger. Sponsored messages are built more like acquisition sources than traditional reengagements.
Sponsored Messages Overview
On the primary navigation, head over to 'Compose' and then select 'Sponsored Messages' in the secondary menu. Click the plus button to create a new sponsored message.
1. Name - The name of your sponsored message.
2. Tags - The tags applied to your sponsored message.
3. Date Created - The date the sponsored message was created.
4. To Block - The block users will receive.
5. Actions - The actions users can take on a sponsored message.
Components of a Sponsored Message
1. Name - Title what you are tracking.
2. Description (Optional) - A description helps others understand where this it's being used.
5. Go to Block - The block users will receive.
7. Tags (Optional) - Utilize tags to segment by users who receive a message with a specific tag. This is especially useful if you're running lots of sponsored messages. Learn more about Tags.
Using Sponsored Messages
Once you've saved your sponsored message, click the "Code" button to get the block copy and JSON to run your sponsored message.
Once you click "Get Code" you'll be able to copy individual message elements and transfer them into Ads Manager to built out your sponsored message in Facebook. Learn more about creating sponsored messages in Facebook
